Preposiciones de tiempo en inglés: Explicación + Ejercicios

Prepositions of Time (At, In, On)

Son las preposiciones de tiempo en español. Se usan para decir cuándo tiene lugar un acontecimiento.

🔵 In

Usamos in con:

  • meses
  • años
  • estaciones
  • partes del día (excepto night -decimos at night, no in the night)

Ejemplos

I was born in 1995. → Nací en 1995.

She studies English in the morning. → Ella estudia inglés por la mañana.

We travel in summer. → Viajamos en verano.

🔵On

Usamos on con:

  • días de la semana
  • fechas completas
  • días especiales

Ejemplos

My birthday is on May 10th. → Mi cumpleaños es el 10 de mayo.

We meet on Christmas Day. → Quedamos el día de Navidad.

I work on Monday. → Trabajo el lunes.

🔵At

Usamos at con:

  • horas
  • momentos exactos
  • expresiones fijas: at night / at the weekend

Ejemplos

Let’s meet at the weekend. → Quedemos el fin de semana.

The class starts at 9 o’clock. → La clase empieza a las 9.

I go to bed at night. → Me voy a la cama por la noche.
