Can y can’t: Explicación + Ejercicios
Verbo modal: CAN
Can / can’t = saber / poder hacer algo
Se usa para:
- habilidad → I can read
- permiso → Can I sit here?
- posibilidad (muy básico) → We can meet later
FORMAS DEL VERBO MODAL: CAN
🟢 Forma afirmativa
Sujeto + CAN + verbo principal
Ejemplos:
- I can swim. → Sé nadar
- She can speak English. → Ella sabe hablar inglés
- We can come tomorrow. → Podemos venir mañana
💙 NOTA: Después de can / can’t, el verbo va siempre en infinitivo sin “to”.

✅ I can swim
🔴 Forma negativa
Sujeto + CAN’T + verbo principal
Ejemplos:
- I can’t drive. → No sé conducir / No puedo conducir
- He can’t play the piano. → Él no sabe tocar el piano
❓ Forma interrogativa
CAN + sujeto + verbo principal + ?
Ejemplos:
- Can you help me? → ¿Puedes ayudarme?
- Can she cook? → ¿Ella sabe cocinar?

3. Traduce al inglés.

- No sé conducir.

4. Ordena las palabras para formar frases correctas.
